My name is G. Hari Babu and I belong to an agricultural family in Kondaiahhgaripalli village in Chowdepalli mandal of Chittor district. My family consists of 4 members including my parents, a brother and myself. My family has good irrigation facility for our agricultural land. We raise sugarcane and other vegetables. My father does trading business of jaggery and my brother is studying in school.

I was enrolled in sponsorshiop programme in the year 1992. I did my early education upto 7th class in my own native Kondaiahgaripalli and up to 10th class in Zillaparishad high school in Chowdepalle. I completed my 10th class with a distinction and joined in a government run degree college in Punganur. I got good rank in the state level and got a seat in Engineering course. I am doing final year Engineering in Electronical and Electical.

In my supplementary school days I was good in studies and always stood 1st in class. I am good at cricket and love watching cricket matches in T.V during leisure time. The additional supplementary classes conducted for children appearing for common exams has helped me to get good marks in Xth class. The reference book and education materials has also helped me in geting good marks.

The sponsorship programme of Aide et Action has gave me basic foundation for my education. It has also helped me to improve my confidence level and communication skills.

Through the education programme of Aide et Action, GVS constructed school building for the benefit of children of the village. They also provided education materials sports and game materials to the school. GVS/AeA promoted WSHGs in the village and provided them with loan facility to improve their economic conditions. They had also facilitated the groups for availing bank loan and government schemes. The training on awareness, capacity building, thrift and credit given by GVS helped members to raise their voice to take up the matter with governement authorities and to successfully get their demands fulfilled.
