Objectives

To ensure quality education to all children in the age-group of 6-10 years

To give special care and attention to physically challenged and mainstream them in the developmental process

To initiate and to continue sustainable livelihood measures for the most marginalized sections

To empower the women in social, economic, cultural and political spheres of life

Quality education has been delivered to all children in project area

Sustainable livelihood support rendered to 100 people

Nearly 2650 women have been organized in groups and empowered to take up development initiatives

36 disabled children have been provided support and assistance

Education and play materials were ensured in 87 schools and 70 balwadis

Linkages developed with banks and loans to the tune of Rs.1.5 crores have been raised

Training to volunteers on village education report and school improvement plans

Strengthen 64 Village Education Development Committees through trainings on child-centered education, enrollment of girl children and other empowerment initiatives

Facilitate the Village Education Development Committees to develop SIPs for face lifting of schools and mobile resource for school improvement

Workshop for Panchayat Raj Institutions, government officials, school teachers and the community to bridge the gap among them and share school implementation plans

Organizing 2 assessment camps for certification in linkages with Sarva Siksha Abhiyan

Women's Empowerment and Education
