Background Information
Aide et Action (AeA) is an international development organization working for the cause of education of marginalized since 1981 in India with a vision of “a world where dignity is ensured for all men and women by education – a lever for human development”. The thrust areas of AeA’s intervention in India include quality education, inclusive education, livelihood education, women’s empowerment and education, early child care and education, disaster management and HIV /AIDS.
Location
To be based in Chennai or Hyderabad
Primary Responsibilities
- Conducting HR need assessment
- Preparation of job descriptions
- Recruitment and training of staff
- Periodical assessment of performance of staff
- Attending to the grievances on HR related matters
- Preparation of guidelines and manual on HR
- Develop and upgrade the HR systems in the organization
Essential Qualifications
- MBA / MSW specialized in personnel management / HR
Skills/ experience required
- Highly motivated with self drive
- Ability to work under demanding situations
- Good knowledge on HR related matters
- Excellent communications, inter-personal, conflict management and negotiations
- Ability to develop guidelines, manual on HR aspects and implement the same
- Experience in training and HR management
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management
