Article 2

"The association is a development organisation whose objective is to facilitate the progress of the cause of "Education For All", with a priority for basic education, for all populations, where ever it is considered necessary and possible, including migrating populations or populations going through crisis, emergency , whose fundamental right to education is denied or endangered, in order to enable them to chose their future freely.

In order to meet this objective, people's sensitization is done through all means legally authorized, notably sponsorship through creating a solidarity link which is the foundation of the Association.

It contributes to initiating a movement for education and influences all actors working in the field of education. Its activity is non political and non religious."

EtG 2004: Resolutions

Resolution No. 1 (Values)
The values of Aide et Action are 

• Freedom
• Respect
• Solidarity
• Equity
• Integrity

Education contributes to reducing inequalities by giving each and everyone the required resources for their own development.

Aide et Action undertakes to consider each education request as particular and singular and requiring an adapted answer.

Resolution No. 2 - A (Influence)
Aide et Action develops a policy to influence States, territories and multilateral and bilateral institutions…

Resolution No. 2 - A (Influence)
The actions of the association are relayed in all spaces where the future of education is determined. The wider public, lever of this influence policy, must be sensitized, informed and trained on education and development issues.

Resolution No. 3 (Influence)
Aide et Action acts on all factors, brakes and levers having incidences on education so as to ensure the progress of the cause of education.

Resolution No. 4 (Development approaches)
Aide et Action undertakes to develop approaches decided by the actors themselves and develop, implement and evaluate their development projects.

Resolution No. 5 (Geographical deployment)
Aide et Action develops its actions in favor of "Education For All", especially with populations whose right to a quality education is not recognized, respected, applied.

Resolution No. 6 (Geographical deployment)
Aide et Action's geographical deployment respects the principles of thrift, efficiency and strategic relevance. The deployment is implemented in an open approach of exchange favoring innovation and strengthening of Aide et Action's expertise.

Resolution No. 7 (Enlargement of intervention areas)
Aide et Action participates to the coherent implementation of the "Education For All" objectives.

Notably, Aide et Action contributes to education for peace and citizenship.

Resolution No. 8 (Internationalization)
Aide et Action, must become an international NGO promoting development through education

This internationalization is built on 4 strong principles:

• decision sharing,
• regions' autonomy,

• shared responsibility for the Association's overall development,

• pooling of resources (human, financial, information…)

These principles are safeguarded by the Association's Charter.

Resolution No. 9 and 10 (Movement for education)
Aide et Action contributes to carry a wide movement for the cause of education in 
the world.

Its members get involved in mobilisation for public's awareness, voluntary action 
and their representation.

Resolution No. 11 (Development of resources)
Sponsorship must remain Aide et Action's foundation…

• … an international resources strategy involving all the regions…

• … evolution of sponsorship principle to suit different cultures…

• … efficient management of its resources at all levels of the Association by 
  reinforcing transparency…
• … new norms and procedures for resource mobilisation, redistribution and utilization

Resolution No.12 (Strengthening of skills)
Aide et Action strengthens the skills of its employees and volunteer teams…
