Background Information

Aide et Action (AeA) is an international development organization working for the cause of education of marginalized since 1981 in India with a vision of “a world where dignity is ensured for all men and women by education – a lever for human development”. The thrust areas of AeA’s intervention in India include quality education, inclusive education, livelihood education, women’s empowerment and education, early child care and education, disaster management and HIV /AIDS.

To be based in Bhopal, Bhuvaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahatti, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Pune and Ranchi

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies to identify new projects in line with AeA’s country strategy
  Preparation of plan and budgets along with project teams
• Extend technical support to projects for program implementation, monitoring and review
• Quarterly monitoring visits to projects concerned
• Conducting periodical review of implementation of partners’ plans
  Organisation of capacity building exercises for projects – trainings / workshops / meetings / orientation etc.,
• Documentation and preparation of various reports/ documents

Essential Qualifications

• Post graduation in Rural management / Social work / Sociology
• Graduates with development experience can also apply

Skills/ experience required

• Highly motivated with self drive
• Ability to work under demanding situations
• Good communications and organization skills
• Experience in project development and management in NGO sector preferably with INGOs
• Experience in training would be an added advantage
• Willingness to undertake extensive travel
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in NGO sector, which can be relaxed for exceptional candidates

Compensation package for the above position will be commensurate with experience and qualification.
