Development Thinking and Strategy of the Organisation

The word development is indicative of a process of change, an evolution from within. Hence the organisation believes in development of rural communities with their participation  for self sufficiency and self-reliance.

Banwasi Sewa Ashram identifies the crucial problems faced by the community, conducts studies, plans programmes for their resolution and implements planned programmes to address the problems in cooperation with the people. Funds are raised from the government, other Indian sources and the foreign countries.

The new projects proposed are based on the past achievements, experience and identified new felt needs.
